The YIPPIE! Page (for Writers, Poets and Artists)
This is definitely NOT the place to be humble and modest. This is the web page to SHOUT your YIPPIE to the world. Have you just been published? Post your YIPPIE here, provide links. Let us read your poetry or fiction.
This page is all about you, you, YOU!!!!

I can’t wait to hear everyones good news *checks e-mail* nothing yet from me. Great idea JAM.
Nothing from you, Debs? lol! Your recent publishing credits would probably fill a page. lol!
Hello, JAM
Nice blog you have here and a nice service to writers.
Ever since I discovered that I like fantasy and horror (late 2008), I have been having a ball writing poetry and short fiction that blends cross-genre speculative fiction with literary fiction. I owe you and Liquid Imagination for that discovery. Here is a recent example iinspired by a writing competition in your offices. “Before the Dawn, the Stars Would Sing,” ( http://www.enchantedconversation.org/2010/06/before-dawn-stars-would-sing-by-john-c.html) appears in the latest issue of Enchanted Conversation. The magic of fairy tales is blended in this fantasy/romance flash fiction, which is also rich with poetic swaths.
I’ve had very recent acceptances of poetry in Skive Magazine and The Legendary–some speculative, some literary, some both.
John
Slow month, JAM. When Lightpeed accept my latest story I’ll let you know *laughs*
That’s very strange. I bet the system thinks the parenthesis is part of the url; it is not. Here it is again:

John
Debs, I’m sure Lightspeed will be the least of your publication credits before it’s all said and done.
John, I tried to go to that link but I had trouble. Let me try again.
Hi, everyone!
You can find 100-word bites from me, Deb and JAM in the July 2010 issue of Necrotic Tissue Magazine!
Bob
Yes, I am most honored that my 100-word story “Picnic with the Bear” appears with your micro-fiction in Necrotic Tissue, as well as Deborah Walker’s micro. How many is that for you now, Bob? 3 for Necrotic Tissue? Wow!!
How very considerate to celebrate others this way.
Who else but JAM would come up with a blog like this? Fabulous e-space John ~:)
Linda
Thanks, Linda. I hope to make this blog more “everybody’s” rather than all about my writing/publishing. I hope to hear a ton of YIPPIES from writers and publishers here. Although I might have a separate page for publishers. What’cha think?
Yes! That sounds like a great idea!
Unearthed your blog post via live search the other day and absolutely enjoy it. Continue the fantastic work.
Leavin a “Yippie” just ‘cuz. Sendin it out to the world. Who knows, it may boomarang right back this way. “Yippie”))))))))))
My good friend and fantastic writer Gay Degani just published a story here: http://www.flashfictiononline.com/f20081002-dani-girls-guide-to-getting-everything-right-gay-degani.html
I have been asked to be interviewed for “Vision: A Resource for Writers”
http://visionforwriters.com/visionjoom/
I spent all day answering questions. This is a biggie for me.
Wow! That is AWESOME, Michael! Huge YIPPIE!!
My story “Death Watch” published in Issue 10 of Liquid Imagination was voted into Second Place in the Preditors and Editors Readers Poll. This is exciting to me, “Death Watch” was my first accepted and published short story. It was only the Second Short Story I had ever written and the first flash fiction story.
It made a strong push for first place and held first place several times in the course of voting, but in the end it took Second Place. All around a great finish.
That is absolutely awesome! You ROCK!!
